Content Standards
Last updated 30 October 2026
This page defines what may not be generated with TinyDesk Studio. It applies to every photo you upload and every frame the service produces, and it forms part of our Terms of Service. The service renders fixed, pre-built scenes rather than arbitrary images, which makes most prohibited content impossible by construction — but the photos you supply are not restricted by the template, so the rules below still apply and are enforced.
1. Six prohibited categories
You may not upload, request or attempt to generate any of the following. We do not operate a warning-only policy for categories 4 and 5.
1. Sexual and NSFW content
No nudity, sexual acts, sexually suggestive posing, fetish content, or any sexualisation of a person's likeness. This includes implied or animated sexual content, and content designed to arouse.
2. Violence and gore
No graphic injury, dismemberment, blood, corpses, torture, animal cruelty, or instructions for causing harm. No content that glorifies or depicts real violence against a real person.
3. Hate and harassment
No content that attacks, dehumanises or incites hostility against people because of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or similar characteristics. No targeted abuse, threats, or humiliating portrayals of an identifiable person.
4. Child safety
No content involving anyone under 18 in a sexual or sexualised context, and no content that endangers a minor. We do not accept photos of children at all. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the relevant authority and the account is terminated permanently.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation
No likeness of a real person used without their consent, and no content that presents a real person as saying or doing something they did not. No public figures, politicians or celebrities. No content intended to deceive viewers about a real event.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement
No photos or uploaded material you do not have the rights to use. No reproduction of a specific copyrighted performance, broadcast, artwork, logo or brand identity. The soundtrack is composed for this template; you may not substitute a commercial recording.
2. Also prohibited
- Circumventing the credit system, the payment step or the automated checks.
- Automated bulk submission, scraping, or reselling the output as a service.
- Uploading malware, or material you have no right to use.
- Using the output to harass, defraud, defame or mislead, or presenting synthetic video as genuine footage.
- Any use that breaks the law where you or we are located.
3. How we enforce it
Enforcement is proportionate: the lightest measure that stops the harm, escalating on repetition.
Reject at upload
An automated check runs on every uploaded photo before any credit is spent. A photo that fails is refused and nothing is charged.
Block at render
Generated frames are screened before the preview is shown to you. If a frame is flagged, the render is stopped, the output is not delivered, and the credits return to your balance.
Warn and remove
For a first, non-severe breach we may remove the output and warn you in writing, with an explanation of what was blocked.
Suspend
Repeated breaches, or a single attempt to generate child sexual abuse material, impersonate a real person or evade the checks, lead to suspension or permanent termination. Unused credits are forfeited where we terminate for breach.
Report
Content involving minors, credible threats of violence, or other apparent criminal conduct is reported to the competent authority, together with the account identifiers we hold.
A blocked render never costs you credits: the 50 credits are returned automatically, whether the block came from the automated check or from human review.
4. How to report content
Email [email protected] with the subject line Report. If the content was made here, include the job ID from your history or the URL you were given; if it was posted elsewhere, include the link and the platform.
- Acknowledged within 1 business day.
- Decision and action within 3 business days for standard reports.
- Immediate escalation for anything involving a minor, a credible threat of violence, or non-consensual intimate imagery — those are handled the same day, before routine reports.
- You are told the outcome, subject to what we may lawfully disclose about another person's account.
You can also report from any page of this site using the “Report content” link in the footer. Reports about your own likeness used without consent are treated as urgent.
5. How moderation works
- Every uploaded photo is screened by an automated classifier before rendering starts. A failing photo is refused and no credits are deducted.
- Every generated preview frame is screened by the same classifier before it is shown to you. A flagged frame stops the job, and the credits are returned.
- Items flagged by the classifier are queued for human review. A person, not the model, makes the final call on anything that leads to suspension or termination.
- Reports from users and third parties enter the same queue and are reviewed by a human, with the reported job re-examined rather than taken on trust.
- We keep a record of each decision — what was flagged, what was blocked, and why — so that an appeal can be reviewed against the original evidence.
- Moderation looks only at the photos and frames needed to render and deliver your job. We do not scan your device, your other files, or your account activity for unrelated content.
6. Appeals
If you believe a block was wrong, reply to the notification or email [email protected] within 30 days, quoting the job ID. A human re-reviews the original files, and if the block was mistaken the credits are restored and the job is re-run at no cost. We answer appeals within 5 business days.
7. Relationship to the Terms of Service
This page is part of the Terms of Service. Where the two overlap, the stricter rule applies. We may update the categories as new abuse patterns appear; the date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.
